Going back to school requires a lot of things. But what’s more important than anything else?
Confidence. Yep, don’t worry. You heard me right; confidence is my #1 back to school essential. Whether you find it by getting a fresh hair cut, new outfit, a little pep talk or you’ve always had it, it’s essential! With each new year come new faces, and what better first impression than a wide smile and a little self assurance?
Finding your inner confidence before school can come in a lot of different ways, and it’s not the same for everyone. My back to school prep starts with being overly organized. I can’t feel confident and prepared for my first day without knowing that everything is where it’s supposed to be and my day won’t be chaotic. This includes planning out my outfit for the first day of classes. To feel extra confident and refreshed, I like to wear an outfit that I’ve never wore before.
After I’m completely organized, I make sure that I go to bed early the night before classes start and wake up early in order to feel calm and not rushed as I get ready. This leaves me time to play with my hair and makeup to feel extra confident and pampered.
To go along with this, I make sure my legs are smooth and moisturized for my first day! Prickly, ashy legs are not my pick of accessory for the first day of school! I feel most confident when I don’t have to worry about anyone bumping up against my unkept legs. I get my glowing, soft legs with Schick Hydro Silk Disposable Razors, and as I mentioned in my last post, they have a great buy 1 get 1 free coupon out right now! I pair this with the Skintimate Moisturizing Shave Gel for Sensitive Skin and I’m ready to go!
I want to know. What makes you feel confident? How do you prepare for your first day of classes and what’s your back to school essential?
